Triumph Daytona 900 engine rattle?

My 1994 Daytona has developed a mechanical rattle from the engine when applying the throttle at low revs in a high gear.It has 39,000 miles on the clock and is a excellent runner apart from that.It is a deeper sounding rattle rather than a tinny one.It doesn't seem to effect the performance.Any ideas anyone?Thanks.
