Are people with low self esteem a bad choice for friends?

You've had enough and your actions show it. It really has less to do with you being selfish and shallow and alot more to do with you just not being happy with your situation and changing it, and no one can blame you for that. The flipside to this coin is...it sounds like she has a big mouth and overall is generally not a nice person, and somehow someway she will try and make you look like a *****, because thats the person she is. Now that you have found yourself within the same circle of friends, you're going to have to cross paths,or...at least cross paths with someone who is curious as to what happened. Find a good answer, but don't bad mouth her....it sounds silly and would be easy to do, but you can't resort to that. I'm pretty sure there are other people you know that understand the kind of person she is and also choose not to deal with her....slowly but surely those people will reveal themselves to you. Still resist the urge to speak poorly of her but keep your ears open for things they tell you...I'm pretty sure you'll find closure through them. Hope this helped.
